I would love to work with Bryson on his forehand. Its long, while it is effective, it wont be nearly as effective against GREAT players in the future. He needs to shorten his stroke up big time. Long swings/short swings have nothing to do with effecting power. Power comes almost exclusively from using your legs and keeping your head down on the ball.(You jerk your head up, the ball is going to set sail)

Haha mega is an old-head like myself, from a long gone era of Burton tennis.

One of the toughest lefties you could play against (and this is not anywhere near current lpd standards).

    He would school you.

Mega was part of an awesome Burton team. I definitely enjoyed watching Burton and the JJK boys play back in the late 90s- it was probably even more exciting than a JJK Girls and Burton match back then.

JJK girls vs JIB boys back around 97 or 98 would have been a good match. I think some of the lower seeds might have been close

Id have a hard time believing that Dera could beat Matt Ward. Dude hit the living [censored] outta the ball.

I myself dont really feel like I was all that good in high school, I didnt truely develop a real tennis game until I played at uvawise. Playing as a 1 seed in college made me better in 1 year(just playing great players) than all of the work I put in during 4-5 years of high school. Every single loss in college was worth it, and believe me there were lots, I played 2 americans my whole college career.

I don't think I was all that great of a player in high school, I was just good at being consistent. (I was definitely better than I am now though!) I'm sad because I haven't kept up with the sport since I decided to go to VT instead of taking the tennis route at E&H. I really miss playing though! I'm hoping when I start my job next fall I can find some tennis buddies in Roanoke and try to get good!

Roanoke is eeking with tennis players, there are tons of usta tourneys there. Living in swva, its pointless to be a usta member because you have to compete in the midatlantic region. All of the tourneys I would consider playing are in tennessee which isnt part of the region.

Anyway, if Hingis can do it, why not you

ahhh Hingis- I had her racquet back in the day, I loved it... USTA tourneys would be a good way to get some playing time, but I'm sure I'd start off with a TON of losses.
